Some mates of mine and many friends in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, London & Glasgow (Scotty and Party Marty) and one more dude ‘Wells’ are driving an ambulance from London to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia for the Mongol Rally 2011. All fundraising from this epic adventure shall be donated towards the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation and Ellenor Lions Hospice with plans to add more charities throughout their trip. The Mongol Rally have nominated the CNCF as the leading charity for this years rally and focuses on supporting orphans, and street children.
The Ellenor Lions Hospice specialise in life threatening illnesses for young teenagers and adults.
The preliminary part of fundraising comes from a calendar from top photographers consisting of 12 of the best snow sports athletes in the UK plus action shots of familiar faces like Jeremy Jones, Jamie Nicholls and Bobby Brown.
Ski Club of GB have just started stocking them, you can get them on Fear of the Park, and now with friends at Freeze Pro Shop have shown their support too and plan to have it online soon. Alternatively you can purchase one of your own whilst showing your support to the guys through the SNO!zone webshop HERE for a price of £10.00 including First Class Royal Mail Delivery and get them closer to their £1200 target.
The calendars are apparently flying out the door, please help this worthy cause or leave a comment on the Facebook page and have your say to the guys directly who are contributing time, effort and money to a great cause. I have one on the way to me and my wall in my room is gonna look sick!
